With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Ralph Houdeshell Jr. in Nevada, Missouri, born in Quapaw, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Paul and Gladys Frances Houdeshell (Henning); and his siblings, Robert, Lloyd, Lee Houdeshell, Lenora McElwee, Viola Chancellor, Lillia Bogart and Pauline Stansill.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Vicky Yokley; his grandsons, Ryan Yokley of Chicago, IL and Colby Yokley (Kasie); his great grandchildren, Chace of Bentonville, AR. and Crew Yokley of Bentonville, AR.; and his sisters, Anna Maude Bogart of Sheldon, MO, Ruby Wright of Sheldon, MO, Ellen Brooks (Mike) of Milo, MO, Dinah Smith (Charlie), Sarah Underwood (Ralph) and Wanda Watts (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Vernon County Cancer Relief Fund, with the funeral home serving as custodian.
