She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Orris and Mildred Maxine Thomas (Spencer); and her siblings, Marilyn Smith and Dennis Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Shelly Walker, Paul Garren and Jason Garren; and her brother Charles Thomas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
