He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Franklin and Joreta Franklin (Reser); and his brother Tom Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kristine 'Kris Young; his children, Samantha Myers (Paul) of Wichita, Emily Frencken (Colton) of Diamond, Dani Mayer (Kasey) of Lees Summitt, Kayleigh Franklin of Joplin and Tyler Chaney (Maggie) of Joplin; and his grandchildren, Bishop, McKinley, Maverick, Baylor, Barrett, Lincoln, Landon, Tayler, Tryce and Myqui.
Contributions in memory of Jeff may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of KU Medical Center in Kansas City.
