He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Geringer and Elizabeth Geringer (Eichler); his wife Barbara Jean Geringer; and his grandsons, Dallas Kerns and Eric Richard Geringer.

He is survived by: his sons, Bill Geringer of Bolivar, Randy Geringer (Marina) of Elko and Tracy Geringer of Casper; his grandchildren, John, Keith, Randy Jr., Sabrina, Henry, Chris Geringer, Ashley Wake and Brittany Akers; his great grandchildren, Tinsley, Aydan, Mayson, Jasmine, Raina, Skylar, Piper, Xavier, Christina and Damon; and his sister Geraldine McClun. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
