She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Nivens and Lacy Nivens (Gibson); her husband Rex West; her sisters, Lenor Ware and Charlotte Wood; her daughter-in-law Joyce "Jody" West; her niece Barbara Hogard; and her nephews, Jerry and Larry Wood.
She is survived by: her son Rick West (Dawn) of Lake Ozark, Missouri; her grandsons, Chris West of Joplin, Dustin West (Amber Eidem) and Brian West (Somer) of Joplin; her great grandchildren, Shae, Aliah, Madison, Titus and Kaden; and her nieces, Wilma Wood of Mt. Vernon, Donna Staats of Kansas City and Mary Wood of Monett, Missouri..
