He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Marten and Clarabelle Hartsell Marten; and his brothers, Beryl Marten and Jonathan Marten. He is survived by: his sister Marjorie Hatch (Thomas); his nieces, Lisa Carl and Kelly Carl (Bobby Coke); his great-nephew Joseph Coke; his great-niece Alexa Belle Coke; and his cousins, Dean and Delores Harris. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
