She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard W. Waller and Nellie Petty Waller; her former husband Thomas Owens; her son Phil Owens; and her siblings, Willis Waller, Marion Waller, James Waller, Dot Tyler, Pauline McLane, Liz Connor, Margaret Smith and Louise Hunt.

She is survived by: her husband Dean Tate of Montgomery City; her children, Doug Owens, Shanann Clampitt of Mexico, Mike Owens of Montgomery City, Sandy Barr (Glen) of Montgomery City, Sheila Huff, Joe Brinegar of Montgomery City, Deana Hale (Kenneth) of Montgomery City and Michael Clayton Tate (Lori) of Montgomery City; her grandchildren, Josh, Heather Byers (Jon), Jacob, Maddie, Aryanna, Christine, Kenna, Jesse, Khole, AJ and Gage; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Sadie, Lily, Sophie, Colton and Cohen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
