It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Payton Coons Jr. of Montgomery City, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Payton Coons, Sr. and Macie Butcher Coons; his former wife Lura Jean Headkamp Coons; his children, Paul Coons III and Macie Coons; and his sisters, Doris, Martha, Thelma, Mary Sue, Lillian, Helen, Grace and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Coons of Montgomery City, MO; and his stepchildren, Martin Wiser of New Florence, MO, Victor Wiser (Patsy) of Danville, MO and Diana McChristy (Richard) of Crestview, FL.. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
