He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carter and Mildred Carter (Jackson); and his aunts and uncles, Dot Schaefer (Rob), Ella Pearl Steinmann, Elmer Jackson, Dorothy Daller, Maggie Borgmeyer, Ray Jackson, Pat Boschert and Rich Jackson.
He is survived by: his sister Jody Witt (Bob) of St. Charles; his nephews, Bobby Witt of Warrenton and Joey Witt (Andrea) of O'Fallon; his niece Jenny Williams (Mark) of St. Charles; his uncle John Carter (Pam) of St. Charles; and his aunt Mary Ann Hackmann (Norb) of St. Charles.
