He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. McMurdo and Sarah A. Wallington McMurdo; and his daughter Susan Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Fick McMurdo of Monroe City, Missouri; his children, Sheryl Hays (Gary) of Monroe City, Missouri, Teresa Provost (Jeff) of Leawood, Kansas and Wes McMurdo (Tanya) of Monroe City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tyler Hays (Emily), Adam Hays (Alisa), Olivia Beckett (Dakota), Emily Sellers (Arthur), Nathan Provost (Marissa), Keegan McMurdo and Makenzie McMurdo; and his great grandchildren, Kayly Rash, Layton, Mia and Maisy Hays. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
