He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald David and Myrtle Gertrude Hays Spalding; his siblings, Geraldine McNally, Patricia Shoemaker, Sarah Holcomb (Sally), George Spalding, David A. Spalding (Tony), Lawrence Spalding, R. Harold Spalding and James Albert Spalding; and his siblings-in-law, Eva Jo Spalding, William Kern, John H. McNally (Herb) and Robert Shoemaker (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Spalding; his daughters, Laura (Gerry Maas) of Palmyra and Lisa (Joseph Kling) of Aiken; his grandchildren, Lindsay Maas, Matthew Maas, Lauren Kling, Audrey Kling and Megan Kling; his siblings, Matthew Spalding (Peggy), Dorothy Kern, Cecilia Spalding and Barbara Quinn (Tim); and his siblings-in-law, Don Holcomb, Sandra Spalding, Janie Spalding and Jan Spalding.
Memorials may be made to Holy Rosary School or Mosswood Meadow Golf Course.
