We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2020, at the age of 90, Albert Lee Ely of Monroe City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Adelbert and Elizabeth Clara Murray Ely; and his siblings, David, Tom Ely, Mary Catherine Farrell and Betty Colborn.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean Hinch; his daughters, Diane Lee Ely (Craig Brown), Rita Kay Schachtsiek (Alan), Jeannie Melinda Buckman (Scott) and Vicky Holland (Robby); his brother Gary Ely (Lana); his sister-in-law Martha Ely; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Buckman, Jared Buckman, Amy Buckman, Bradly Whiston, Kelly Stroud, Carrie Johnson, Curt Schachtsiek, Todd Schachtsiek and Nick Schachtsiek. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
