He was predeceased by: his father N. J. Cooksey. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann; his sons, Jim Cooksey (Sherry) of Moberly and Bob Cooksey Slidell (Cindy Kisner) of Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Garreth Cooksey of Hannibal and Shaylyn McCollough (Eric) of Columbia.
