The memory of Sonya Yvette Brown of Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on May 9, 2024 at the age of 60, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Williams, Jr. and Missourie Bell Britt; her husband Larry Brown; her grandparents, Gabriel Sr. and Mary Williams; and her siblings, Teresa Fulsom and Lyndall Williams.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Williams of Louisville, KY, Shirley Britt of Louisville, KY, Deborah Harris (Charles) of Memphis, TN and Teresa Dawn Burris (LaRon) of Seattle, WA; her aunt Joetta Tipton of Mexico; her stepchildren, Turkessa Nunnelly and DorQuise Brown; her friends, Sarah Johnson, Bobbette Jackson, Gaye Cook, Vickie Gardner and Jeanette Nickens; and also, Johnita Prince and Donnell Belcher. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; 24 great nieces and nephews.
