He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenwood Whittaker and LaUna Whittaker (Boswell); and his son Kent Whittaker. He is survived by: his wife Connie Whittaker of Mexico; his sons, Darren Whittaker (Jill) of Papillion, NE and Rick Whittaker of Columbia; his daughter-in-law Rachel Whittaker of Blue Springs; his sister Kay Stahmer (Harlan) of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Elsa Whittaker, Katie Whittaker, Nathan Whittaker, Nick Whittaker, Luke Whittaker, Logan Whittaker, Grayson Whittaker, Zach Whittaker, Brandon Whittaker and Ellee Whittaker; and his great grandchild Carson.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Elks Scholarship or the Ron Whittaker Track Alumi Scholarship.
