She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond West and Beaulah West (Patrick); her former husband Lewis McDermott; her husband James Griffin; and her siblings, Raymond West, Lewis West and Alice Grogan (West).
She is survived by: her sons, Kelly McDermott (Karen) of New York and Patrick McDermott (Becki) of Virginia; her stepchildren, Gina Laird of Missouri, Steve Griffin (Maryanne) of Missouri and Wade Griffin of Georgia; her grandchildren, Kary Graser (John) of Delaware, Kevin McDermott (Christine) of Delaware, Katherine Cunningham (Scott) of New York, Lesley Adams (Roy) of Missouri, Amanda Anderson (Robin) of Missouri and Christopher McDermott (Andie) of Missouri; and her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Finkelstein (Brandon) of Missouri and Kristina Love (Paul) of Missouri.
