It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry S. Mitchell of Mexico, Missouri, born in Newburg, Missouri, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde A. Mitchell and Ida Lee Mitchell (Barnett); his grandson Ethan Spurling; his brothers, Clyde, Johnny and Avery; and his schnauzer Pepper.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mitchell; his children, Joe Mitchell (Kim) of Warrenton, Sherry Gastler (Ted) of Montgomery City, Tom Spurling (Christine) of Columbia and Ed Spurling (Linda) of Mexico; his grandchildren, Kelsay, Nicole, Samantha, Rachel, Brandon, Bridgett, Brent, Ashley and Andrew; and his brothers, Linvell Mitchell (Beverly) of Oak Grove and Bill Mitchell of Australia. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
