He is survived by: his wife Jean Smith; his children, Pamela Smith of Columbia and Darrell Smith (Suzanne) of Frisco, Texas; his grandchildren, Zachary Smith (Alyssa) of Northlake and Courtney Hawksley (Brad) of Tomball, Texas; and his sister Elsie Boyd of Mexico. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
