He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Thurston (David White) of Mexico, Laurie Strait of Rock Hill and John J. Houf (Jacqueline) of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Donna Kreutz (Eric) of Mexico, Ross (Mirandia) of Rock Hill and Robert Strait of Rock Hill; and his great grandchildren, Eric, Zackery, Hunter Kreutz of Mexico, Pierce and Wylie Briar Strait of Rock Hill.
