She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Barbara Whitney Spurgeon and Robert Mitchell White II; her daughter Laura Mitchell White (Ark) of Fayetteville; and her siblings, R. Mitchell White III of Sandy Springs, GA. and Laura White Erdel (Steve) of Columbia. She was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations to either the Audrain County Historical Society (505 South Muldrow Mexico MO 65265) or to the Missouri Press Foundation (802 Locust Street Columbia, MO 65201).
