He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Pitts and Helen Pitts (Houser); his brother Arnold Pitts; and his brother-in-law Tom Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Laura Carol Dill; his children, Scott David Pitts, Susan Polacek (Travis) and Karen Polacek (Kevin); his granddaughters, Emily Nicole Polacek (Paul Muenks) and Megan Renae Polacek; his sister Patricia Arnold of Adrian, Missouri; his sister-in-law Eleanor Jo Pitts of Kansas City, Kansas; and his friends, John and Mary Kay Hartgraves of Springfield, MO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
