He is survived by: his children, Renae, Dale "Buzz" Sowards (Kerry) of Freemont, CA., Loree Tyler (Dewayne), Rob Sowards of St Joseph, MO., Catherine Wemhoff of Bakersfield, John Sowards of Maryville, MO. and Christina Ouda of Dalyyan; his grandchildren, Brittany Schweizer, Tiffany Bailey (Bradley), Tyler Schweizer (Faith), Justin Tyler (Amanda), Jason Tyler (Edin VanAnne), Amanda Mann, Colby Wemhoff (Liz), Bevin Wemhoff, Tara Williams, John Joseph Sowards, Courtney Sowards, Caylee Sowards, Corin Schrader (Janele), Lydon O'Dowd (Tracy), Talin Schrader (Abi), Viviana "Vivi" Ouda and Casandra "Clo" Ouda; and his brother Homer. He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
