With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lee Tollefson of Maryville, Missouri, born in Clearwater, Minnesota, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tollefson and Carol Tollefson (Erie); his siblings, Duane Tollefson, Mavis Heinecke and Dianne Pederson; and his grandchildren, Parker Tollefson and Emily Hope Greene.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Mullins; his sons, Paul Tollefson of Savannah and Wayne Tollefson (Donna) of Savannah; his stepsons, Victor Neiderhauser of Fillmore, MO and Vincent Neiderhauser of Sparta, MO; his daughter Tina Slay of Savannah; his stepdaughters, Virginia DeBoard (Donald) of Independence, MO and Vanessa Armstrong (Justin) of Maryville, MO; and his sister Barbara Raad of Bagley, MN.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
