He is survived by: his parents, Boniface Mares and Priscilla S. Mares; his brothers, Steve, Adolph and Don; his former wife Eulia Mares; and his stepchildren, Lisa and Jeff. He is also survived by children and grandchildren, who he considered his own children grandchildren and great grandchildren.
