She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinkey L. Quick and Mable M. Quick (Stark); her husband James R. Friend Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Ann Grisham, Maxine Box, Judy Ellison and Norman Quick.
She is survived by: her nephew Mitchell Adams; her son James R. Friend, Jr.; her grandchildren, James, Nichole and Jackie; and her siblings, Merlene Brake, Alpha Braker, Myrtle Brake and Marion Quick. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
