He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Matilda Pekarek (Jurgens) and John Pekarek; his wife Frances Pekarek; and his siblings, Ronald Pekarek, Doris Meekins and Larry Pekarek.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Pekarek (Debbie), Cathy Carter (Thomas), Steve Pekarek (Bois D'Arc) and Mary Ann Richardson (Mark Pekarek); his great grandchild Ella Grace Richardson; his siblings, Herman Pekarek (Pat), Bernice Stone, Lavanna Nash and John Pekarek; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Pekarek and Martha Myers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
