He was predeceased by: his mother Odessa Lane Mason; his son Mark Mason; and his sisters, Wanda, Carol and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Mason; and his children, Sally Willis (Kenneth) and John Brent Mason (Mary). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
