He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Hopper (Rovenstine); his brother Gary Hopper; his nephew Shane Hopper; his great great grandchild Amaya Roberts; and his granddaughter-in-law Jessica Hopper.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Lunsford; his children, Alan Hopper, Donna Rifenburg and Robert Hopper (Robin); his grandchildren, Donna Jo, Dustin, Christopher, Stephanie and Gabby; his brother Kenneth Hopper (Connie); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Buttram and Lawrence Lunsford (Mary). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
