She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin L. Slack and Beulah Evelyn Slack (Martin); and her brothers, James Evan Slack and Maurice Dean Slack. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Batson; and her children, Sherri Batson, Susan Metcalf and Brian Batson. She is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five nieces; one nephew.
