He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Boyd of Maplewood; his sons, Dustin Ries (Chris) of Chesterfield and Bob Boyd of Illinois; his stepdaughters, Kim Savage (Rob) of Pacific and Kandi Wolf (Scott) of Pacific; his sisters, Cindy Pettus Catawissa and Phyllis Hedrick (Larry) of Catawissa; his grandchildren, Gavin Ries, Mason Ries, Aiden Ries, Savannah Ries, Riley Boyd, Emma Boyd and Maxton Boyd; and his pet Duke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice are preferred.
