She was predeceased by: her husband James Itsumi Hayashi; her daughter Joan Hayashi; and her siblings, Kengo Wada, Harry Wada and Phyllis Kamitsuka.
She is survived by: her sons, John (Elisa) and Robert Hayashi (Sue); and her grandchildren, David, Anna and Elizabeth Hayashi.
