Roger Gary (Morton) Morton Obituary
Roger Gary Morton, age 61, of Macon, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his home.
Roger was born on October 5, 1960, in Macon, MO, the son of Robert L. and Annie Mae (Lampkin) Morton. Roger graduated from Macon High School in 1980. He later worked for the city of Macon for several years and then Conagra.
He is survived by his son, Jermane McCullum of Moberly, MO; two daughters; several grandchildren; three sisters, Shelly Vaughn, Charlene Troy, and Nancy Morton all of Macon; two brothers, Cecil Morton and Robert Morton Jr. of St. Louis; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Shannon Walker; one brother, Paul Morton; and one sister, Peggy Douglas.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon, MO with Rev. Craig Morton officiating. A private family viewing will precede the graveside at the Hutton & McElwain funeral home in Macon. Memorials may be made to the Bethel AME Church of Macon. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
