It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Hartzel Neff of Macon, Missouri, born in Moberly, Missouri, who passed away on June 16, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hartman and Thelma Hartman (Scott); her husband William Earl Neff; her son William L. Neff; her grandson David Halley; her great grandchild Kaitlyn Pritchett; and her siblings, Thomas Hartman and Margaret Strader.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Krause (Richard) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Rebecca DeSpain (Larry) of Macon, MO, Deborah Neff of Macon, MO and Patricia Halley (Dan) of Macon, MO; her daughter-in-law Laurel Glassman of Chevy Chase, MD; her grandchildren, Audrey Neff (Vinnie Rotondaro), Kim Brewer (Mark), Sara Neff (Mark Ganek), Hilary Lemon (David), Erik VanDelft (Brandi), Michael Krause, Alex Van Delft (Anna), Samantha Farmer, Megan Eagan (Kyle) and Abigail Vaughn (Nicholas); her niece Marilyn Shireman (Paul); and her nephews, Tommy Strader (Anapaula) and Jerold Parks. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
