With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Franklin McCarty of Louisiana, Missouri, born in Hawk Point, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Rebecca Doris Downing McCarty; his former wife Bonnie Louise Smith of Clarksville; his wife Margaret May Hagen; his siblings, Bill McCarty, Dan McCarty, Robert McCarty, Harold McCarty, John McCarty, Marguerite Wood, Mary Lou Moeller, Katheryn Busse and Norma Jane McCarty; and his stepdaughters, Cindy Church and Debbie Winchell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rebecca Franklin (Bill) of Silex, MO and Marcia McCarty of Bowling Green, MO; his stepsons, Shawn Hagen (Trana) and Donnie Hagen (Amy); his grandchildren, Cara Voepel (Adam), Shelby Penn (Christopher), Gregory Darnell II (Sarah), Sarah Tobias, Samuel Franklin, Ira Franklin, Isaac Franklin and Hattie Franklin; and his sisters-in-law, Dona McCarty, Sylvia McCarty and Margaret McCarty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
