He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Colbert and Elza Ellen Royster Colbert; his wife Martha May Calhoun; and his sisters, Bernice McManus, Muriel Grote and Louise Mudd.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Huckstep (Jeff) of Clarksville, MO and William James "Bill" Colbert of Bowling Green, MO; his grandchildren, Dolon Colbert (Sierra) of Frankford, MO, MyKelti AnnaLee Colbert of Bowling Green, MO, Jenna Casey (Sean) of Wentzville, MO, Sarah Huckstep of Clarksville, MO and Laura Huckstep of Clarksville, MO; his great grandchild Luna Bella Casey of Wentzville, MO; and his siblings, Lois Schneidler of Bowling Green, MO and Kenny Colbert of Marthasville, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
