With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florene Ashford (Louisburg, Missouri), born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on March 17, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Lewis and Hazel Shelton Lewis; her husband LeRoy Ashford; her son Kenneth Allen Owens; and her sister Dorothy Patten.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon Owens of Olathe, KS., Robert Miller of Drexel, MO. and Kathy Huckaby of Warrensburg, MO.; and her siblings, Carol Franklin, Patricia Hartman, Verna Jean Engelken, Sharon Brooks, Marvina Wyman and Joe Lewis. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
