It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delano Brown of Lincoln, Missouri, born in Winfield, Missouri, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Nancy Lucille Brown (Parsons); and his brother Paul Wray Brown. He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Brown; his daughters, Diane Lynn Kurgas (John) of Troy, Kathy Jo Clement (Adam) of Winfield and Lori Lee Cook of Lake St; his siblings, Robert J. Brown (Jean) of Troy and Elizabeth Lou Skinner (Ron) of Winfield; his sister-in-law Anna Dean Fessler of Troy; his grandchildren, Katlin Wilmes (Ted) of Troy, Matthew Stone (Mackenzie) of Eolia, Dana Diamond Block (Tim) of St. Peters, James Cook of Lake St and Kristin Cook of Kansas City; and his great grandchildren, April Wilmes, Becca Wilmes, Quinn Wilmes, Theo Wilmes, Trenton Block, Lena Block, James Stone, June Caruthers, Brantley Stone and Brynn Stone. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
