She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Wilderness and Early Wilderness; her daughter Earleen; her husband Melvin "Fess" Cooper; and her sisters, Geneva Wilderness, Helen Wilderness and Lavern Avery.
She is survived by: her brothers, Clen Wilderness and Frank Wilderness.
