He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Oren Maize and Flossie Irene Lindsey; and his siblings, Blackie, Dick, Lloyd, Jeep, Jake Maize, Pat Fann and Jerry Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Maize of Lesterville; his children, Gary "Goober" Maize (Jolene) of Lesterville, Brian "Bubba" Maize (Catherine) of Lesterville, Kathleen Hewitt (Jack) of Lesterville and Tina Murphy (Bruce) of Defiance; and his siblings, Jack Maize of Fort Leonard Wood and Ethel Lay of Ellington. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
