He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Powers and Allie Golden Powers (Robinette); his wife Helen Frances Nichols; his son Gary Noel Powers; and his siblings, Willard Eugene Powers, Donald Lee Powers, Ray Powers, Marvin Leon Powers, Lucille Meatheany, Thelma Walker and Ruby Gregory.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Lynn Barton (Tommy Wade) of Lesterville; his daughter-in-law Diane Powers (Steve Tucker) of Farmington; his daughter Donna Lee Groves (Forrest Lee) of Poplar Bluff; his sisters, Helen Akins of Harrisburg, Doris Martin (Doug) of Wentzville and Marty Penny of Troy; his grandchildren, Macie Barton, Emily Young (Mike), Dawn VanDover, Donnie Robertson (Kim), Jimmy Robertson (Amy), Robyn Bomar-Michaels (Cameron) and Melissa Rodriguez (Ron); and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Michael, Boone, Alyssa, Logan, Dylan, Liv Helen and Elijah. He is also survived by relatives and many friends.
