He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" and Melva Schaeffer (Hamilton). He is survived by: his sister Penny Obrigewich of Wilbaux, MT; his children, Nathan Schaeffer of Hamilton, MO, Staci Ireland (Kevin), Trenton and Candice Hanks (Lee); his grandchildren, Natalie, Blake Schaeffer, Taurren Bottcher (Jacob), Trisha Greenwood (Ivan), Trent Ireland (Cassie), Allyson and Matthew Hanks; his great grandchildren, Emilyn, Elkie, Rex, Nellie, Naason, Grace and Macklyn; and his nephews, Beau, Ryan, Clay, Shane, Dakota and Dalton.
