She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Brenneke; her brothers, Elmer, LeRoy, Harold Dean and Gary Masters; and her grandson Justin Brenneke.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Brenneke, Trena Penberthy and Bruce Brenneke (Micke, Tracy Brenneke); and her siblings, Jerry Masters (Shary, Terry Masters) and Sharon Dane (Marvin, Madonna Freeman). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
