He was predeceased by: his parents, Joanna Thompson and William V. Thompson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Anne Thompson; his brother William V. Thomspon, III; his daughter Joanna Gieski; and his stepchildren, Jeanette Shilts, Jarod Hribar, James Hribar and Joshua Hribar. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
