With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Leta Giles of Lawson, Missouri, who passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel Leta Giles to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Irene Smith; her husband George Giles; her children, Russell and Donna Swope; and her siblings, Naomi Mudd, Violet Norwood and Tommy Charles Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Holt of Excelsior Springs, Rhonda Morris (Marlin) of Lawson, Michelle Wisdom (Dwayne) of Lawson, Karen Gooding of Cameron, Kevin Giles (Robin) of Excelsior Springs and Larry Giles (Kristy) of Lawson; and her son-in-law Steve Swope of Kearney. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
