He is survived by: his wife Misty Baxley; his children, Eric Shook (Ruby) of Excelsior Springs, MO, Cassie Howard (Mark) of Liberty, MO, Kenna and Xander Mavel of Lawson, MO; his grandchildren, Caden Howard, Tristen King (Steven), Drew Shook and Braeden Shook; and his siblings, Don Shook (Roxann) of Lawson, MO, Richard Shook (Jacky) of Kansas City, MO, David Shook of Smithville, MO and Linda Schwab of Independence, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
