With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Kay Swope of Lawson, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on July 5, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father George R. Giles; her grandparents, Clarence, Bertha Brown of Montreal Missouri, Harland and Wynette Giles of Kansas City; her mother Mabel Giles; her brother Russell Giles; and her grandchildren, Riley Kay Swope and Wade Allen Swope.

She is survived by: her sons, Andrew and Tyler; her husband Steve Swope of Lawson; her son James Swope (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Sophia, Peyton Swope, Dallen Barnett, Andrew Swope (Tiffany), Collin of Lawson, Colt Swope of Lawson and Tyler Swope (Chandy) of Lawson; her stepmother Hazel Giles of Lawson; and her siblings, Deborah Holt of Excelsior Springs, Rhonda Morris (Marlin) of Lawson, Karen Gooding of Lawson, Michelle Wisdom (Dwayne) of Lawson, Kevin Giles (Robin) and Larry Giles (Kristy) of Lawson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
