She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jones and Opal Palmer Jones; her husband Robert Simmons; her son Gerald; and her siblings, Madelene Phipps, Olive Pyatt, Mary Williams, Alma Reaves, Wanda Jones and Curtis Jones (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Simmons (Debra) of Lamar, MO and Jan Rogers of Raleigh, NC; her sister Sarah White of Texas; her sister-in-law Wanda Michel of Grandview, MO.; and her grandsons, Joshua, Phillip and Tyler. She is also survived by 3 great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society or Nigh Cemetery.
