He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Dale Phipps; and his parents-in-law, Marcus and Lois Tummons. He is survived by: his mother Allene Marie Phipps (Braker); his wife Margaret Ann Tummons; his children, Eric Phipps and Letitia Jewell (Greg) of Lamar; his grandchildren, Christopher Jewell (Shannon) of Holden, Mariah Jewell (Tyler) of Blue Springs and Dominic Jewell of Lamar, MO; his great grandchild Baby Jewell; and his siblings, Anthony Phipps (Henri) of Carthage, Kay Timmons (Tim) of Lamar, MO and Myra Percy (Jason) of Carthage, MO..
