He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Audi Johnston and Mae Johnston (Madole); his children, Gailand Johnston (Bonnie) of Lamar, MO, Patty Batcheler of Lamar, MO and Lisa McAtee (Randy); his sisters, Maxine Francis, Thelma Lehman (Roy) and Connie Taylor (Bud); his wife Evelyn; his daughter Tina Clemons; his son-in-law Dennis Batcheler; and his brothers, Dean, Don, Bud and Gary Johnston. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
