He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Marjorie McConnell (Ince); and his brother Randy McConnell. He is survived by: his children, Sandra McConnell (Matthew VanDyken) of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Nathan McConnell of Huber Heights, Ohio; and his sisters, Sandy DeShong, Deborah Smith and Paula Opel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
